Could you by a Volunteer Buddy?

The Bridge Project is funded by The European Social Fund and the National Lottery, through the National Lottery Community Fund – overseen by Northumberland County Council, with the aim of improving lives and outcomes for people throughout Northumberland. The project delivers specialist services to beneficiaries, working with them on a one to one basis to reduce barriers and move people nearer to employment.  For some this may be about supporting them into work but for others it is about improving lives and moving them nearer to being job ready.

Northumberland CVA provide the Supported Volunteering element of the project , they are responsible for sourcing  volunteering opportunities for individuals wishing to volunteer and who are part of Bridge, they then provide them with a buddy to attend the volunteering until they are ready to volunteer on their own.
