Council and Committee Meetings will not be held or called during this period
Newbiggin by the Sea Town Council will observe a period of mourning following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.Council and Committee meetings will not be held or called during this period, as a mark of respect and in adherence to the statutory days’ notice required for Council meetings.
The Environmental Committee meeting, scheduled for Wednesday 14th September, will not be held. This will be rescheduled when permitted.
The Ordinary Meeting of the Town Council due to be held Wednesday 21st September, will not be held. This will be called when permitted.
The work of the Town Council will continue as normal, while we observe the period of mourning, with the upmost sensitivity and respect.
