Presentation to Newbiggin Traders Association
Newbiggin Traders Association applied for a large grant in October to help fund Newbiggin fireworks display and the Christmas event this year.In a time of financial difficulties, the events allow families, youngsters, and older residents to come together, enjoy meeting friends and making new ones.
A grant of £2000 was agreed unanimously at the Ordinary Town Council Meeting held on 19th October 2022. A representative from The Traders Association was presented with a cheque.
The Newbiggin Traders Association were invited to submit a small grant application for funding towards the ‘Golden Oldies’ and ‘Kids Christmas party’ events this year. During the Ordinary Town Council meeting on the 16th November a further grant of £300 was unanimously agreed.
