Sunday 7th May
‘Picnic On The Prom’ at Newbiggin By The Sea, home to Northumberland’s longest accessible Promenade. This is a celebration for The King’s Coronation. A community event funded by Newbiggin Town Council and Northumberland County Council. This will be held on Sunday 7th May. Book now to avoid disappointment first come first served!!!!

- Arrive at approx 11:00-11:15, bring your own picnic/table cloth (if you wish to use one)/tiered cake stands with delectable delights etc
- Jayees Newbiggin Brass Band kick off the event at approx 11:30
- Rick and Yiota – acoustic duo – Not to be missed at approx 12:15
- Captain Jack Sparrow to walk about between 12:30 – 14:30
- Flash the Magician to walk about and do close up magic between 12:30 and 14:30
- Picnic on the prom finishes at 14:35 – please remember to make sure to leave your table the same way you found it and take your rubbish home when you leave.
We strongly encourage both children and adults to come in fancy dress – prizes given to best fancy dress – no theme.

‘The Big Help Out’
Join us at 10am on Monday 8th May at East Lea Car Park for a community litter pick in the woods. Equipment provided but please bring own gloves. Lets start something amazing.
