Light fingered residents?

We’d love to be sharing photos of our beautiful floral displays this year but unfortunately we can’t!

We’ve had a report that lots of plants are being stolen from the flower beds on Gibson Street and Front Street.

The beautiful planting displays throughout the town cost the residents of Newbiggin by the Sea over £6000 – we maintain them through Northumberland County Council’ horticulture, team to please everyone who sees them and for the benefit of the whole town.

By stealing the plants you’re stealing from the residents of our town, committing a criminal act, being selfish and are stopping all of the town from enjoying them. Shame on you!
