The Community Awards – Accepting Nominations
Outstanding Individual Achievement in Arts and Culture – We would love arts and culture to thrive in Newbiggin By The Sea. This person deserves to be celebrated for their dedication and contribution to Art/culture and creativity. Achievements within the last year. No age restrictions – however if you are nominating yourself and are under the age of 16 – an adult would need to nominate. Demonstrates dedication, professionalism, integrity and has had a positive impact in their field.
Outstanding Individual Sporting Achievement – To recognise the commitment, dedication and success achieved by the sportsmen or women in Newbiggin By The Sea. Ideally the winner of this award will have achieved success at a regional, national or international level within the last year. All sports are recognised. No age restrictions – however if you are nominating yourself and are under the age of 16 – an adult would need to nominate. Demonstrates dedication, professionalism, integrity and has had a positive impact in their sport.
Community Champion – This award seeks to recognise the importance of those who dedicate a significant amount of time and involvement supporting the community. They should have displayed the greatest commitment and achievement to a charity, voluntary sector or the community.
Please fill out the information requested in the forms below and get them back to us via email ask@newbiggintowncouncil.gov.uk before 24 July 2023. After which time all nominations will be uploaded for Residents Choice Award Online.
