Run For Sam

 

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Are you joining Newbiggin Sports and Social for Run for Sam? 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

On Sunday 29th September they are meeting at Newbiggin Church Point at 11am. Here is some useful information regarding car parks, public toilets and refreshments. Whether you choose to run or walk, the community are coming together to complete 2.1 miles in Sam’s honour. If you are able to volunteer to help marshal please contact Newbiggin SAS (Sports & Social) Running Group. Please share this information.

The Temporary Overflow Car Park will be available on the day and sign posted in Town (more details on the poster). We have not listed Gibson Street Car Park as this is currently under maintenance and not in use at the moment. If you decide to go to Spital Point Car Park (5) please be careful of uneven surface.

🌟Please use Car Parks in the Town, we kindly ask that you don’t park on streets and residential areas.

🌟Remember to take any rubbish with you or place in the bins provided on the Promenade
🌟Be mindful of others during the run/walk

Newbiggin Maritime Centre are providing a refreshment station for all those who participate. There is also a water refill station located on the Promenade (between Bertorelli’s and The Coble).

Public toilets are also located on the map – you will find these on the side of the building of Newbiggin Town Council – NE64 6QD.
