Community Grant Funding

Newbiggin by the Sea Town Council has an annual grant scheme to support community groups and organisations within our parish and have budgeted a total of £8000 for large grants (requests for up to £2000) and £6000 for small grants (requests for up to £300) for this financial year.

Unfortunately we have had to limit the ceiling of large grants as more and more local groups are coming forward requesting help and we want to be fair to all local organisations that do so much for the community of Newbiggin by the Sea.

To improve the process, efficiency, and transparency of the grant schemes we have amended the application forms and will now only be considering applications four times per year at the meetings of the Finance & HR Committee.
