ASB Week of action update from Northumbria Police
Following reports last week of an off-road motorbike being driven dangerously on the streets of Ashington and Bedlington some great investigation by Sgt Smith’s Ashington team identified a 16 year old male from Newbiggin who was responsible. The youth was arrested this week for dangerous driving and is currently on bail whilst further enquiries are completed. The bike was found in his home address and was seized by officers and will be crushed in due course.
REMEMBER – As moving vehicles are difficult to catch, Northumbria Police very much rely on people power so if you have any information relating to the use of these vehicles, where they are being ridden, and who they are being ridden by please report it to Northumbria Police.
