Calling all garden enthusiasts in Newbiggin by the Sea! Do you have a hidden gem that deserves to be showcased? The Secret Garden Award 2024 is here to celebrate those breath-taking gardens that are tucked away from public view. If your garden is a well-kept secret, we want to see it!
To enter your Secret Garden, simply email us at ask@newbiggintowncouncil.gov.uk.
You will receive a form to complete and a request for a picture of your secret garden. Make sure to submit your entry by the closing date, 12th July 2024.
These are the gardens that cannot be seen by passers-by. In order to view these gardens, you would need to enter the property. We believe there are some magnificent displays that have taken many hours of pleasurable hard work to achieve hidden away. This will be judged by our guest judge from Wansbeck Garden Centre 🌹🌻🌿 Winners will be announced in September.
