We are thrilled to announce that Newbiggin Town Council has awarded £300 to Newbiggin Learning Hive through their Grants scheme! 👏
Councillor Fiona Rowley, Mayor of Newbiggin By The Sea, along with Leanne Lawson, Town Clerk for Newbiggin Town Council, visited Melanie at the Hive to present a cheque. The funds have been used to purchase a new, energy-efficient cooker! 🔥
This fantastic addition will not only help reduce energy costs for the Hive but will also enable them to offer more cooking sessions. These sessions will teach learners valuable skills such as reducing waste by making delicious soups and pasta dishes. 🍲🍝🌟
