Opening Date for the Northumberland Line

Exciting News: The Northumberland Line is Opening! 🚆✨

We’re thrilled the Northumberland Line will officially open to passengers on Sunday, 15th December 2024! 🌟 After more than 60 years since the last passenger train on 31st October 1964, the stations at Ashington & Seaton Delaval will be the first to welcome travellers once again.

🎟️ Tickets will be available for purchase on the Northern website and App starting Monday, 9th December. Please note that it might take up to 48 hours for fares to appear on other train operator or ticket sales websites and Apps.
