Colliery War Memorial Restoration

The Town Council obtained planning permission to restore the Colliery War Memorial in December 2019 and the restoration works are programmed to take place in May this year ahead of the Centenary of the Memorial in July.

The Town Council are working in partnership with Newbiggin Veterans Association and the local church to plan a service of rededication to coincide with the Centenary.
