New Appointed Councillor – North Ward

Members considered applications for co-option to the North Ward vacancy at the meeting of the Council held 20th April, where they agreed to Co-opt Sian Darbyshire.  Sian joins Cllr Fiona Rowley representing the North Ward.

“I am delighted to be appointed to Newbiggin Town Council. I am keen to encourage safer streets, to clear up our public spaces so they are safe and free from litter, and tackle housing issues in the town. I have an interest and working knowledge of property due to my job role. Very keen to teach the future generations how to look after and respect the town as after all; it is their future”.
