Join wildlife rangers Katherine, Richard and Ben for a two-hour guided walk along the shore at Newbiggin North Beach – an incredibly special site for shorebirds in Northumberland and a fantastic place to begin to learn the differences between the species.

No prior knowledge is required, and during the event we will discuss why Newbiggin is so important for shorebirds and give tips on how to identify the different species we see. We will meet at Church Point car park at 10am, and head north along the shore towards Beacon Point, taking our time to watch the wildlife we encounter along the way. 

At the end of the walk, hot drinks vouchers will kindly be provided by Newbiggin Maritime Centre.
