NOTICE OF ANNUAL PARISH MEETING
FOR NEWBIGGIN BY THE SEA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT-
The Annual Assembly of the Parish Meeting for Newbiggin by the Sea will be held at St Bartholomew’s Church Centre on Wednesday 24th May at 19.00
Local Government electors for the Town (residents who have registered to vote) will be entitled to vote at the Meeting which will be open to the public. Please note this is not a meeting of the Town Council.
The business to be transacted at the Meeting will be as follows:-
- Minutes of the last Annual Meeting – 25th May 2022
To accept the minutes of the last Annual meeting and sign as an accurate record
- Report of the Chairman/Town Mayor
Town Council Chairman Alison Sutherland will provide a brief report on the activities of the Town Council from 2022-23
- Requested Agenda Item (submitted by elector):
3.i)Beefing up the prom, art work, cafes, deckchairs showers, taps etc. Maybe even a mural on the Maritime depicting the history of N B
3.ii) Green projects
3.iii) Water activities, encouraging training for the sailing club to train young people
3.iv) Training for paddle boarding
3.v) Boat trips from the bay
3.vi) Encouraging businesses to build a hotel or convert existing building/s into one.
